Sunshine Coast Independent Living Service offers a range of regular group activities and community-based programs that support skill development, social engagement, and increased independence. These experiences provide opportunities for participants to connect with others, explore their community, and develop practical life skills in a supportive and structured environment. Our programs are thoughtfully planned to balance learning, participation, and enjoyment, ensuring each individual feels confident and supported every step of the way.

Holiday Program
The SCILS Holiday Program is designed for Social Group clients during school holidays, providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for participants to enjoy meaningful social experiences. The program is centred around choice, fun, and adventure, allowing participants to have a voice in planning activities each week.

Dream Team
The Dream Team Social Group runs every Wednesday and is perfect for participants who want to focus on physical health, movement and fun, social exercise. This popular program offers a supportive, energetic environment where participants can stay active, build confidence and enjoy a variety of activities throughout each term.

Volunteers Group
Our Volunteers Group is a social, community‑focused program where participants come together every Monday to enjoy a full day of connection, meaningful activities and shared experiences. The group is designed for people who enjoy being active in the community, spending time with peers and contributing in ways that feel purposeful and fun.

Masters Group
The Masters Group is held every Wednesday and is designed for participants who enjoy creativity, social connection and exploring a wide variety of activities. This long‑running program is built around choice, flexibility and fun — with clients actively shaping the schedule each term to ensure activities align with their goals, interests and needs.

Music & Movement
Music & Movement is one of our most loved and longest‑running social groups at SCILS. This vibrant program brings participants together every Tuesday for a fun, high‑energy day filled with music, dance and creative expression.

Ten Pin Bowling
Friday Bowling Group is a fun and energetic social outing that brings together a large group of participants each week. This program is perfect for anyone who enjoys staying active, building friendships and developing new skills in a lively, supportive environment.
