Recreation & Holiday Programs

With the aim of facilitating the integration and participation of people with disabilities in recreation and leisure activities available in the general community. This service also enhances the capacity and responsiveness of mainstream recreation agencies and community organisations to provide for people with disabilities.

Weekend trips, camps and holidays are catered for (dependent on the availability of funding) and in the past have included excursions to the House of Happiness on Bribie Island, Tangalooma on Moreton Island, Fraser Island, whale watching, camps at Lake Somerset and Lake Borumba, and holidays to the Gold Coast.
