SCILS is pleased to announce a vacancy in one of our established Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes located in the beautiful Caloundra region.
This welcoming shared home operates under a 1:3 support providing residents with the perfect balance of independence, choice, and personalised support. With experienced support staff available 24 hours a day, residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible while receiving assistance tailored to their individual needs, goals, and aspirations.
The home offers comfortable private bedrooms, spacious shared living areas, multiple bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large outdoor area where residents can relax, socialise, and enjoy time at home. Designed to promote both comfort and wellbeing, the home provides a safe and supportive environment where residents can build confidence, develop life skills, and create meaningful connections with others.

Residents are supported to engage with their local community and participate in activities that are important to them, whether that’s exploring local cafés, enjoying the nearby beaches, attending appointments, shopping, participating in social activities, or pursuing hobbies and interests. The home’s convenient location offers easy access to community facilities, services, and many of the attractions that make Caloundra such a desirable place to live.
At SCILS, we believe that a home is more than just a place to live. It is a place where people feel valued, respected, connected, and empowered to achieve their goals. This vacancy presents an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a friendly household and become part of a supportive community that promotes independence, personal growth, and quality of life.

We are currently seeking a participant who would be a compatible match for the existing household and who is looking to enjoy the benefits of Supported Independent Living within a warm, inclusive, and person-centred environment.
If you would like to learn more about this vacancy or discuss suitability, we encourage you to contact the SCILS team. We would be delighted to provide further information and help you explore whether this opportunity may be the right fit for you or someone you support.
