The SCILS Holiday Program is designed for Social Group clients during school holidays, providing a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for participants to enjoy meaningful social experiences. The program is centred around choice, fun, and adventure, allowing participants to have a voice in planning activities each week.
Participants are encouraged to vote and contribute ideas for weekly activities, empowering them to make decisions about how they spend their time and ensuring the program reflects their interests and preferences. Activities may include:
- Big Group Adventures – Excursions that bring participants together for shared experiences, fostering teamwork, friendship, and confidence.
- Exploring the Coast – Visits to local beaches, parks, and nature areas, promoting outdoor activity, curiosity, and wellbeing.
- Group Meals Out – Social dining experiences at local cafés and restaurants, supporting independence, social skills, and community engagement.
- Special Outings & Participant-Driven Activities – Unique experiences and events chosen by participants, ensuring the program is personalised, engaging, and enjoyable.
The SCILS Holiday Program prioritises safety and support while offering participants opportunities to connect, try new activities, and develop confidence in a fun and structured environment. By combining adventure, choice, and social connection, the program ensures every participant enjoys a holiday experience that is enjoyable, enriching, and memorable.
